Volve’s templates cover four areas, grouped by who acts on the finding. Security and exposure: are delay damages stated without a cap? Pricing basis: is a fixed price required on design that is not finished? Programme and dependencies: are any of the employer’s deliveries to the contractor, including site access, left undated? Contract mechanics: does payment depend on an approval or certificate the employer controls, with no deadline for issuing it?
