Checklists are now live in Volve
Checklists in Volve run reusable yes/no checks across construction tenders, contracts, bids and work packages, with every answer traced back to the source document.

Reusable yes/no checks across tenders, contracts, bids and work packages, with every answer traced back to the source document.
Every contractor has a list of things they check before they commit. It lives in a spreadsheet, in a template nobody has updated since 2022, or in the head of whoever has read the most contracts. The questions are usually right. The habit does not scale, the answers do not stay with the project, and the check happens late or not at all.
Volve now includes Checklists: a reusable yes/no pass over the documents you have already uploaded.
What it does
Items answerable from the documents.
Every line has a clear failure state and can be answered from the document set, not from assumptions about your own capacity or history. Volve's templates cover four areas, grouped by who acts on the finding. Security and exposure: are delay damages stated without a cap? Pricing basis: is a fixed price required on design that is not finished? Programme and dependencies: are any of the employer's deliveries to the contractor, including site access, left undated? Contract mechanics: does payment depend on an approval or certificate the employer controls, with no deadline for issuing it?
Your thresholds, or ours.
Apply Volve's templates or build your own. What counts as a problem depends on who you are, what you are bidding, and what your board wants escalated. The line that stops one contractor from bidding is priced without comment by another, so the templates are a starting point rather than a standard.
Traceable answers.
Each item resolves live as the run progresses, with citations back into the documents so you can open the exact source and verify it. Not a score you have to trust.
Different lines for different phases.
What you need to know before committing resources to a tender is not what you need before submission, or before signing, or before issuing a subcontractor package. Same engine, different list. Run it from RFP home, contract home or subcontractor pack home.
