After most tenders, you hear something back. Public clients are generally required to explain the award decision: scores per criterion, the relative strengths of the winning bid. Private clients often tell you informally. Either way, that feedback tends to end up in an inbox, a PDF, or someone's memory, and rarely makes it back into the next submission.

Tender Feedback in Volve closes that loop. Upload the feedback you receive, together with the tender documents and the bid you submitted, and Volve builds a structured, reusable record of what worked, where you lost points, and how different clients evaluate bids. That record feeds directly into how Volve supports you on the next tender.

The first version of this, Tender Learning, shipped in 2025 and generated learning points from one tender at a time. This update is the step we pointed to back then: patterns across tenders, clients and portfolios, gathered in one place and fed back into the drafting work. Supporting your bed development process as described in Tender development from first draft to submission.

What it does

Two ways to build the record. Log a client's feedback inside the bid it belongs to, right after you hear back. That's the fastest path when Volve has already been part of the tender. And when a tender runs over several rounds, the bid and its feedback carry into the next round, so you refine instead of restarting. Or batch-upload history: the RFP, your submission and the feedback, tagged to the client, for as many past tenders as you have on file. Especially useful when you're new to Volve. Both routes feed the same underlying record.

A shared Learning Dashboard. Once an organisation has logged enough feedback, Volve aggregates the patterns into one shared view: recurring strengths and weaknesses, differences by project type, differences by client. Every insight links back to the original tender, so the learning never floats free of its source.

Feedback that shapes the next bid, not just describes the last one. This is where it pays off. The record tailors the sparring you get from Volve when drafting a bid response and building your execution plan, and when refining both against the specific tender in front of you. The output is anchored in your own track record and the client's known preferences rather than generic best practice. The more feedback in the system, the sharper that tailoring gets.

Your learning stays yours

As required by our terms and our ongoing efforts on information security, feedback and bid history are only used inside your own environment to improve what you get out of Volve. They are never used to benefit another customer, and never used to train third-party AI models.
